Web Connect allows you to download your transactions from online banking, launch your Quicken software and reconcile your transactions.

Since you're downloading your transactions manually from our website into a Quicken format (QFX), you don't have to enter each transaction manually in Quicken.

To use Web Connect, log in to online banking, and choose the account you'd like to reconcile in Quicken. Choose Download in the Transaction History, and enter the date range. You can download up to 18 months of history.

There are a few possible reasons:

  • There are special characters in your account nickname. Characters, such as &, @, $, *, will prevent Quicken® from updating.

  • There were no transactions in your account for the given time period. This is often the case with CDs.

  • You changed your Ally Online Banking password and forgot to update the information in Quicken®.

For more detailed information about using Quicken®, please visit their support center at www.quicken.intuit.com/support.

You can access the following Ally account types through Quicken®:

  • Interest Checking
  • Online Savings Account
  • Money Market Account
  • Certificate of Deposit

Note: Ally does not currently support IRA account access through Quicken®.

Does anyone know how to download the Quickbooks WEB Connect file (.qbo extension) from Bank of America? I click 'Download' when I am looking at all my transactions online, it brings me to a page where I can select the date range and type of file. However, there is no Quickbooks file listed. There is Quicken Web Connect (.qfx) and some Microsoft Money (I think that was it, .qif) files, but nothing for Quickbooks.
The BoA site claims to support Quickbooks, yet I cannot get the appropriate file downloaded no matter what. Without that, I don't have a chance at importing data.
Whenever I contact customer service, they send me emails regarding how to enroll in online banking. I'm pretty sure I'm already enrolled. I can log in on the BoA site and have been doing so for many years now. I can get to the download page as well - the correct file type just isn't listed.
